Das u:book-Service wird mit Jänner 2026 eingestellt. Es finden keine weiteren Verkaufsfenster mehr statt. Eine sorgfältige Analyse hat gezeigt, dass sich die Rahmenbedingungen in den vergangenen Jahren deutlich verändert haben und Aufwand und Nutzen nicht mehr in einem angemessenen Verhältnis standen. Im Sinne einer nachhaltigen und ressourcenorientierten Weiterentwicklung war dieser Schritt daher notwendig.
Die Universität Wien bedankt sich herzlich bei allen Nutzer*innen und Partner*innen von u:book für 18 Jahre Vertrauen und Treue.

Thank you for your loyalty and 18 years together!
The u:book service will be discontinued in January 2026. There will be no further sales periods. A careful analysis has shown that the framework conditions have changed significantly in recent years, and the effort involved is no longer in proportion to the benefits. This step was therefore necessary in the interests of sustainable and resource-oriented further development.
