Jubiläum legt u:book den Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit und entwickelte gemeinsam mit den Herstellern der Produkte ein grünes Label. Geräte, die über ein international anerkanntes Nachhaltigkeitszertifikat (EPEAT-Standard Gold) verfügen, werden ab sofort mit dem grünen Nachhaltig-Label gekennzeichnet.

EPEAT bietet eine Möglichkeit zur Bewertung der Umweltauswirkungen von elektronischen Produkten über ihren gesamten Lebenszyklus hinweg, von der Herstellung über die Nutzung bis zur Entsorgung. Die Zertifizierung erfolgt dabei in 3 Klassen: Bronze, Silber und Gold. Bei u:book erhalten nur jene Produkte das grüne Label, die den Kriterien der höchsten Auszeichnung, der EPEAT-Gold-Zertifizierung, entsprechen. Bei u:book verfügen in diesem Verkaufsfenster bereits 32 Geräte – also mehr als die Hälfte – über das neue Label.

In line with global efforts to minimise the environmental impact of technical devices, u:book is introducing measures to highlight the sustainability of its products. Together with representatives of the manufacturing companies, the u:book team has worked out a concept to support you in choosing a sustainable product. More information will follow shortly.
